SECURITY ALERT
Are you aware of the scam targeting B&Bs?
If you have received an email or telephone call from someone trying to book multiple guest rooms this may be ploy to access your bank details.
The scammer will provide you with valid or invalid credit card details (there are variant scams in operation!).
Through providing valid details the scammer will book a short stay with the B&B to build your trust. However on a later date the scammer will make a large booking with an invalid card and when you have problems processing the details they will ask you for your bank account number so that they can transfer money directly into your account.
